Kids create artwork with food at DPC Farmers Market table

On Thursday Douglas Park Cooperative hosted a table at the Lake City Farmers Market. There we offered information on our neighborhood and hosted an activity for kids —and a couple adults.

The visitors to our table created watercolor art with crushed blueberries, hibiscus and spinach leaves. Above is a sample of the creations made by our talented market artists.

If you would like to volunteer to host an activity for kids at the Farmers Market please email Annie Stocker:

Its a great way to meet neighbors and share with our community.

  1. How cool! I love that you had them use colorings from fruits and veggies.
